A bit more than anticipated, but no complaints. All in, we were at $100 per person per day for food/bev for a family of 5, Glob breakfast included - enjoyed poolside/beachside lunch and drinks, and dinner. Had we paid cash, not so sure at $40 usd pp would be a good value. Cucina Glob breakfast was good, but not great - easily enjoyed the Glob benefit there. Tried La Laguna at Fairmont and it was a shitshow between golf cart, SUV, walking, and a different menu than expected. Going outside of Andaz a bit of a pain in the. Room service one evening was actually terrible, would proactively skip. Skipped Casa Amate as the menu didn't appeal to our children as much as the other spots. Hit up Tinta (very good), Sotavento (excellent). Everyone from bellhop to concierge to restaurant service to housekeeping. Kudos to the property for a consistent service level. Service all around was quite welcoming and friendly. And for the mobility challenged, could be difficult to rely only on this - but could be done.ĥ. Hit or miss in booking them for a specific time and having them actually show up. Alternative to bikes is golf cart service. The bike riding will be a family memory forever - it's about a mile from lagoon to beach, not super well lit, but through the jungle which was beautiful and provided lots of laughs and good times riding home from the beach dinner spots after dark. Not that many kids bikes or trailers available fyi. Love the bikes to go to and from lagoon to beach - but difficult if kids are not confident bike riders on adult sized bikes. Terrific redemption - would just be sure to book when award space becomes available 12-13 months out as it seems to go quickly.ģ. Buildings 23 and 22 have a great view of the entire lagoon area. We were xx31 and xx32 on top floor for the adjoining rooms. TRULY great redemption - highly recommend. Great setup for family of five - tons of space, wonderful layout, lots of outdoor space (3 balconies).
